Problem with Mouse

hello all well i got a problem with my mouse its a razer copperhead it started giving me problems yesterday while i was playing counter strike source the mouse stopped and i coulden't move when it did that it made that noise for example when u plug in somthing today its been doing that all day now it freezes and it makes that noise i updated the driver and firmware still doing it i lost the razer cd and i don't kno wht do any help would be very helpful

This a USB mouse isn't it?
Try another USB port. Possible dirty connections.
