Multimedia Keyboard and a KVM Switch

Hello.

A few days ago, I purchased a KVM switch ('Nexxtech' brand, from The SourceCC, in Montreal). I use an HP Multimedia PS/2 keyboard (part # SK-2560 or 5185-1596), with 21 configurable hotkeys and such.

My problem is, when I use the keyboard through the KVM switch, the hotkeys won't work; the computer just sees a regular keyboard. The KVM switch has USB output to the computer. I'm fairly certain that the store I bought it at carries one with PS/2 outputs; would that help?

Thanks in advance for any answers,

M. J. Sklar.

You will need to install the drivers for the keyboard to all computers connected to the KVM switch
