Problem with Nero InCD reading r/w disks
Up until yesterday I could copy to CDRW and DVDRW disks fine using Nero InCD, but this morning I find that InCD regards all disks as read-only, even if they are read-write! I've even reformatted a disk, but it still regards it as readonly. When I put a read-write disk in the cd-tray and close it, the disk is briefly recognised as read-write (as indicated by the ticked-icon in the system icon tray), but a couple of seconds later the icon changes to show a readonly disk. I have updated InCD from version 4.2.2.3 to 4.2.23.2 but this has made no difference. As far as I know I have not installed any new software onto the pc that could change InCD settings.
Backing-up data to rewritable CD and DVD disks is a very important part of my business, so any help would be appreciated. BTW, I am using XP Pro, SP2. Many thanks, Alan Harris-Reid |
