partial backup?
We have a user that runs a particular program from a network drive. Worked perfectly until today when a power blip during file transfer happened. Now the program will not run because there is no data on the network drive. Somehow the blip erased all of the data that this program uses. The program itself it still there but no data. Contacted the vendor support, they said we have to restore from tape. My question is this: can I restore only that particular network drive's data or will I have to restore the entire server? Lots of folks will lose today's data if I have to restore everything. The server is backed up daily so it will only be one day of data loss.
