Issuses with monitor
hi there, i dont know where this problem should be posted but the past couple of days my computer monitor is coming up red in areas along my computer screen and have no clue if there is..how to get rid of it. Areas of which when my screen goes normally goes black just as it shuts down is now a deep red in colour, at first i thought it was my graphics card so i swapped it my other pcs graphics card to much array still had the problems of red distortion on the monitor.
this has led me to believe that either my monitor is dying after a year and half plus of having it, its now decided to come up with a fault. i have a Futura HD17A monitor, which looks exactly like the one you have on your webpage at the top left (even thoguh that has no reletive importance, i thought i may add that LOl0 Well any solutions will be appreciated, and thank you for taking the time to read this and give any advice. thanks chris |

I have no idea what type of monitor that is up there, but I think it's LCD. If that's the case, then the controller board in the LCD panel itself is the culprit.

well my PC is a very old 2004 tiny computer, and as you may know tiny went bust or collapsed, or went into liquidation, for which is the problem, the company that took over from them rang me about 9 months ago and asked me if i wanted to pay a monthly fee for warranty as my tiny warranty went void from whatever happened.
So from this i said no, as i had a fair knowlegde in not breaking my computer ofen, and knew a few computer technicains who could me if i did at the time. All that aside basically, i have no warranty, so im guessin im screwed lol. cheers chris |
