Unknown Device Driver
Hey, I have been getting random reboots with my computer. When my computer restarts windows I get a message saying that this system has recovered from a serious error. Then a microsoft crash analysis website will come up and it says that the cause of the error is an unknown device driver. I am running windows xp sp2. Is there any kind of test I could do to determine what the error is?

greetings
go into your device manager, click the view tab, click show hidden devices. look for any yellow alerts do you have any usb devices plugged in? do you have your motherboard disk? as it might be your chipset driver, on board sound, ect. |

hey, I went to the device manager, and under the tab sound video and game controllers, there is a yellow ! by C-Media AC97AudioDevice. I went to properties for it, clicked on troubleshoot, and then it told me to uninstall it, and then reinstall it, should I do that, or is there another solution?
