BIOS settings
Options;
"Shutdown when CPUFAN fail" is disabled. Should I enable it? "CPU shutdown temperature" is disabled. Should I enable it and if so to what temp? Also; "CPUFAN speed" is 2150 RPM "CHAFAN speed" is 2750 RPM "PWRFAN speed" is 0 RPM I have 1 inlet fan (newly installed) at front of case, 1 exhaust fan at rear, and obviously 1 CPU fan. All 3 are spinning (when I look inside), so why is my BIOS only displaying 2 fan speeds? Is my new fan the PWRFAN? Thanks for any help

Enable them. What kind of cpu are you using ? For amd you can set higher values. over 55 F is ugly for an intel cpu. 65-70 is bad for amds. I would stay on the safer side.
The pwrfan probably the censor is not working or it doesnt exist. I wouldnt worry about that. |

PWRFAN is most likely a sensor for the Power Supply fan. If it's spinning, dont worry about it.
The shutdown temp depends on what CPU you have. Please, enlighten us :)

For an xp 3200, you should see mid 40's to low 50's celcius with normal usage. I'd lower the thermal warning to 60, and shutdown at 65, just to be safe although i'm sure the processor won't fry much before 80's.
