0519 BIOS for P5WD2-P does not boot.

As a matter of fact, it doesn't do anything. I've tried two different copies.
It will flash successfully. I then configure the Intel Sata as RAID, hit F10 to save changes and exit and.... nothing. Not even a green light for the monitor or floppy. So far, I have been able to boot to a Win ME floppy and flash back to a working BIOS.

What am I missing? Does this BIOS require 2 video cards to be installed? Or the Primary card installed in the lower PCI-E x16 slot??

Thanks for the help.

Did you jump a bios? Or did you upgrade them one at a time in steps?

You don't really NEED to upgrade BIOS unless you're having an issue, so you may just want to knock it back to 0422 for now, see how others do with it if you're not having an issue with it.

Also, the lower PCI-X slot is only 4x.

Sorry for being unclear. I was referring to its physical appearance, not its functional capability. My mistake.

It's working now. I downloaded another copy from a different mirror and did an F10 save changes after every configuration change instead of doing them all at once.

My goal for flashing is to be ready when the R580 Crossfire cards hit the market. I want to have all the other bugs worked out when I introduce a bunch of new ones! LOL

And it also looks like SLI is just a driver hack away...

Good to hear it's now working :)

That crossfire looks sweet!!

I knew SLI was coming, they included an SLI cable in the box with the board :P
