Confused P5AD2-E Issue with formating SATA drive(s)

Hi all,
i have a computer with the p5ad2-e premium and 2 seagate sata hard drives. teh computer has small business server 2003 installed and RAID 1 setup.
i want to format the hard drive and do a clean install of server sb 2003.
windows setup does not see the drives.
they do not show up bios (all the ide are not detected - other than the dvd rom). i have read that there should be a sata drive in bios but its not there.

the settings in the bios appear to be correct under the advance/
how do i format and do a clean install now?

thank you all for suggestions and comments.

ok... its one of these... Oh never mind!! i got it to work....
bit of a silly goof.. but tricky... i had the wrong raid driver... seems the utility from the mobo cd doesnt include ALL of the drivers to the floppy. I had to dig and find the drivers for the Si SATA RAID drivers... manually copy to floppy and ..... ta dah! recognized.
i will reinstall my SBS 2003 and come back with .... how do i setup RAID 1 and how do i check it to verify it is working.

thanks to ALL!!
