CPU Question

I Recently Purchased A AMD Sempron 2400+ CPU and A MSI KM4M Motherboard. I have installed both and everything is running fine, except on the start up screen (where it gives the bios logo and comp specs) it says i am running a AMD 64 1500+. Also Windows reconises the CPU as a AMD 64 1500+. Is there anyway to fix this?

Did you buy the merchandise off a a store or ebay? Because some cheaper made hardware could have altered specs and therefore be recognised as something else. My videocard Is a 9600 pro that runs slower than 9200 and is recognised as a 9600xt. Go figure.
