800mhz Celeron (Video Problem could be MB?)
I have a 800mhz Celeron CPU with 1 problem which I aint sure if its motherboard or what.
But upon plugging in 3 different PCI Video cards, the CPU turns on as if its running normally but I get nothing on the monitor. I thought could be possible the PCI slot got fryed? This all happened one night when I left the CPU on and everything, next morning I get up notice CPU still on, but nothing on monitor and nothign would come on, one thing I did notice though was after I opened up the Case the Video card was pretty hot, tested out other video cards and still got nothing. question is what could be the problem? |

Take a close look at all the capacitors on the board to see if any of them are leaking or have bulging tops. Also inspect the board for anything else that looks discoloured or otherwise unusual.

Well its got a PCI slot which only video cards will go into that slot unless its AGP.
I did however use a very very old AGP card and it didnt work but I am doubting it would of worked regardless of the problems anyway. Power Supply seemed to worked ok, fan moving, getting power to the keyboard it look like plus fan was moving. So I dunno. |

agp is brown coloured and is on top of the pci white slots
the fans moving does not mean the p/s is ok the only way to check is with a multimeter or swap the supplies
