Mainboard L8400C
 I've got a problem with a L8400c Asus Laptop. When I switch it on, it doesn't do a thing but only the fan is running. The screen stays dead and at he bottom of the laptop I can see a little RED LED just at the corner of the battery. And the power LED at the front is ON.What is wrong with this laptop, can anyone help me with this. Where do I have to look, mainboard memory or ??????

Your RAM may have gone bad. Did you recently test it at all? I would try swapping out the memory. If that doesn't work may be the CPU.
