problems with p4P800-X (no screen and beeping)

okay, so i just made my first computer a few days ago and unsurprisingly it didnt work. when it starts up it makes 3 beep stops and makes another 3 beeps, there is no display on monitor but cd-drive and floppy drive light up and work. my specs are:

motherboard: P4P800-X
processor: Pentium 4 3.06Gh/800MZ
Ram: 512mb (elexir brand)
graphics card: geforce fx5200 128mb DDR/diectx9/agpx8
cd drive: Asus 52x
Floppy: Unknown

Sounds like a memory beep code without looking it up. Just to be sure, check here for the correct beep code:

i looked up all the beeps but couldnt find the one i was looking for.(maybe i might have mislooked) i'll try to check again.

looked through them again but still couldnt find it. i'm going to have a look insde the cpu to see if theres anything fishy going inside

What are the specs of your RAM? Sounds like a memory problem.

my Ram specs are DDR400/400mhz/pc3200/512mb
