how to add HI-SPEED USB host controller?

First of all, make sure you have either SP2 or SP3 installed on this rig. Make sure you also have the chipset drivers from the motherboard disk installed. Then, in the bios setup menu, make sure you have enabled all the USB items in there.

If that doesn't work, then uninstall and reinstall the USB items like this:

Unplug all USB items

Start

Control Panel

System

Hardware

Device Manager

View

Show Hidden Devices

Scroll down to the USB area and open it with (+)

Right click on each item and Uninstall all that you have with that option

Reboot and let the computer find them

Plug items back in and test it.
