Laptop...AMD or Intel.
Well im looking to get a new (new to me, if necessary) laptop. and the only thing im loosing sleep over is....should i break down and get an intel? and if so what kind? Pentium, core, celeron, etc? or should i stick with my tried and true AMD? which i've made sure to get with every computer for years now. thanks.

Re: Laptop...AMD or Intel.
Intel seems to run cooler than amd. Overall intel well give you better preformance and a longer life, if you take care of the laptop well. AMD seems to be a bit hotter, shorter life, however far cheaper. If money isn't an issue, go with intel.
If it matters, intel "feels" sort of slower response than AMD however when an application is running it seems intel is slightly more stable. |
