L2 cache or bus speed???

I wanna buy a laptop and i NEED it to take alot of pressure from top notch games and too me a good processor has a good clock speed and bus speed and l2 cache but i'm seeing some of the strangest combinations to choose from to buy for example..a laptop had a processor AMD Turion II M500 2.2GHz Dual-core with a bus speed of 3600MHZ but 1mb L2 cache and another Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz Dual-core laptop had a 2mb l2 cache but 800Mhz buss speed..how is that logical the higher the L2 wouldn't it be better for a bigger bus speed???? or is it illogical since the l2 cache is already good??..and i understand the relationship with how they communicate. just not corresponding with the speed part though

AMD and Intel have completely different architectures, you can't purely compare numbers. See here: Comparison of Mobile Processors (CPU Benchmarks)

If you plan to push it hard with games plan too on replacing it soon.

Ditto. If you want to do heavy gaming and want longevity use a PC.
Laptops are for mobility and convenience.

ok thanks alot...i'll upgrade my pc then..any recommendations for optimum play of like gta4?..cuz currently i cant even play it...and can someone answer my quest on the cache thing please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMD CPUs often have less cache due to their on-chip memory controller which gives them direct access to system RAM, thus reducing the need for a larger cache. They also use HyperTransport to communicate with the rest of the system. FSB isn't really important for AMD anymore.
