I have
Compaq Presario Media Center SR2023WM I have upgraded the bios to v 3.10 I changed bios settings to onboard video only. Now there is no display. Returned the pcie card no video. Apparently everything is working but without display pointless. Is there away to reset bios back to origional. Or if someone has a similar system could you step by step outline the precise keystrokes it would take for me to change bios setting to pcie For example hit power press f1 for 5s wait 45s arrow r arrow r arrow d arrow d arrow d enter arrow up enter f10 enter restart system Something like that might allow me to blindly get output again. Thanks if there are any takers |

Re: Request assistance
yes there is a way to return it to normal.
power down the computer open up the case remove the battery set the jumper pins below the battery to 2 & 3 after 20 minutes put the battery back in put the jumper pins back to 1 & 2 switch on this will return the bios to it's original state.
