Vpc chip in acer over heats need help
after I replaced the ac Jack, my acer 5004 stopped powering up and when it's pluged in or connected the battery the vpc chip gets really hot, any suggestion would be very helpfull, as of now the laptop does not power up.

Are you talking about the ac/dc adapter DC jack for running the laptop and charging the battery?
If you soldered that wrong you may have shorted something.
