Why do you think it is not running? Does bios indicate this? Is it not being read in Task Manager?

Re: How to enable MultiProcessors!

not being read in the Task Manager. I checked their. Also i was able to enable it in vista VIA msconfig via BOOT.INI but now i put xp on it and their is no BOOT.INI tab in MSCONFIG. also . when i did enable it with vista. Instead of it saying i had 158mb of video memory it said i have 384 mb of ram.. so basically 2 things

I wanna be able to run 2 processors and get 384 mb of video. My computer can use up to 384 pf dynamic Video Memory So how would i go on doing that?

also i was able to run much higher end graphics game when i enabled it in vista.. so ya..

Re: How to enable MultiProcessors!

What brand and model PC do you have?
The chipset should be the first drivers installed.

Re: How to enable MultiProcessors!

Bump, Sorry i dont mean to Continuously bump my thread. Its just moving down the Board at a fast pace.. So i was told that my BOON.ini was corrupted. thats why i didnt have BOOT.ini tab in my msconfig settings. So i was told to recover it. by

Inserting XP CD.
Waiting for the format thing.
than pressing R
than it ask wha do i want to repair?
C/Windows
or
E/Windows

So i choose C

Than it ask for a admin pw. and ofcourse THEIR IS no admin pw so i couldnt do this. So i am reformating again. gonna see if BOOT.ini is their and i may be able to enable my other processor.. If this doesnt work.. Does anyone know any other ways of enableing my second processor?

Re: How to enable MultiProcessors!

Boon.ini?
Try a reinstall with EIST disabled in the Bios.

Re: How to enable MultiProcessors!

Dyanamic is shared video ram when the system needs it.
You could try increasing the dedicated amount in the Bios if your motherboard allows changing the setting.
