3 beeps on startup! HELP!

hi my gaming computer seems to have some problems. at first there were 5 beeps each time i booted, so i reseated the cpu HSF and now instead of five beeps i get 3 beeps. But i can boot up OS, play games and do everything its just the sound is freakin me out! any help? (BTW i have 2x2 gigs of ocz reaper ram which vista 64b can detect) THNX.

Have you overclocked anything? Changed any voltages? Ex: Ram, Cpu, Video.
What are the voltage readings from bios? (From PSU)
Temperature readings? CPU/Video

I overclocked it by a little a long time ago but now its set to stock clocks.(ram,cpu,video)
voltage: 1.2 (stock)
cpu temp: 42
gpu temp: 46

If you have a motherboard manaul for the 'msi p35 diamond MS-7356' then it should say what each beep means, weather it be no RAM, no VGA, no CPU detected etc once you have reffered to the manual and found out what the beeps mean then you can use that to determin what the problem may be. 3 Beeps is a Memory issue. What are the specs of the DDR3 RAM?

Run Memtest on one stick of RAM at a time.

hello again, I figured out the problem. I dissconected my external usb hdd and the 3 beeps dont come up any more. But now i have 2 beeps! If anyone can help get rid of the 2 beeps it will be apreciated.Thanks for passing by!
