I think it's bios problem

Hey all, first of all i'd like to say that i'm new here. So one more time hey everybody. Ok anyway here's a deal. I've got some old computer and each time i turn it on it starts normally but when screen "Save mode/Start windows normally" appears i just click enter and try to enter windows, then that loading white line at the bottom of screen appears and when it ends nothing hapends. Computer just hangs up. Anybody knows what's the problem and how i can fix it?

P.S. tried on 2 hard discs ( same problem ).

Waiting for answers

Re: I think it's bios problem

List the model number. If this is a custom build then list the specs.

Can you access the BIOS?

Re: I think it's bios problem

Was it a fresh install of XP on both HDD's?

You can get your hardware specs with an app such as SIW or Everest.

How to find drivers

Re: I think it's bios problem

If you can open it, and it was prebuilt/oem, it might still have the part barcode stickers on it. Usually these have model numbers as well. The motherboard has a ID tag pressed onto it in any case.
