Does DDR2 1066 RAM limit CPU FSB 1600 performance?
Question: With my memory overclocked at 1066, would the purchase of a CPU that will allow 1333 or 1600MHz change the overall speed? Will the RAM sabotage any CPU upgrades?
The following are specs regarding my Motherboard, CPU, and RAM: Motherboard: *CPU FSB can be 1600 when overclocked *Supports DDR2 1066 when overclocked Find my Motherboard here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128390 CPU: *1066 MHz Find my CPU here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116091 RAM: *DDR2 1066 Find my RAM here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104098 |
