Hey Guys and Gals,
I just set up an account because I am stumped... I don't even know if this is the right place to post these questions. Here it goes. I just installed 4 10K RPM raptor HDD in a raidO configuration using the raid software that came with my Asrock A780GXE/128m MB. Everything works ok... but just ok. I have a phenom X4 2.3 OC'd to 2.7 and it is running stable. I installed Vista U. on this new drive setup. I have a 9800GTX+ PCI-e video card. I have 4GB of OCZ fatality and a OCZ ModXstream-Pro 500W ps. Now that you know the setup... here is the issue. I have stress tested it and got perfect scores. But than I ran 3DMark 06 and only scored a 9879... (the average pc is supposed to run 16K+. I ran a HDD bench mark and it is only running at a 3rd of what I know it is capable of. They are all running Sata... should I try switching to have my MB read it as IDE instead... Any help or Ideas would be soooo Appreciated. I hate spending hundreds of dollars and getting nowhere near the return I was hoping for.
