Re: Abit AA8XE 1066 FSB

@ Wrench97
i was looking at your Power supply link and had some thoughts about a build with that gigabyte board, i7 920, basic optic drive, basic HDD, mid range graphics card(About $100), some good ram, and some fans with some slight OC i am really reluctant to buy anything other than a 1000W $250+ PSU but that is really expensive campared to a really nice 750W that would cost about half the price of the 1000W?

If your looking in the HD4850, 9600GT range a 650TX is fine no need for a 1k unit until you get into Xfire of 2 HD4890's or SLI of 2 GTX260's.

Re: Abit AA8XE 1066 FSB

ok i was mistaken on the price of the Graphics i do plan on getting a (as in 1) GTX260 as the price vs performance was really good around $170 before any rebates cause those are unreliable. would i still be good with the PSU listed below?
