Boot failure, No array defined no drive attached. Oh boy!
Hey guess i didnt scare u away with the title, heh. Well i came home to my computer on and running. I went to play a video game of mine and it came up as missing the exe. No problem i thought, ill just re boot the computer and see if that'll fix it. Well then my second problem arrived. I couldnt close xp, xp professional just for the info, tried the normal way, task manager, cntl alt delete. NO luck. So then i hit the reset button, alright it still works im on my way. On my way to a complete crash im soon to find out. Well after hittin the button a black screen appears, yea something is working finally. So i think, a blue screen appears saying something like windows wasnt booted or shut down yada yada yada. It told me it was goin to do 1 of 3 scans, no prob i thought. Well the 1 of 3 scan went fast and well. 2 of 3 scan started, got to 70% and things turned bad, real bad i think. Got like 6-7 lines saying that its deleting different files. At this point im guessing i just caught a nasty virus. Well after a few choice words i rebooted the computer again and now im getting the errors i mentioned in my subject. Comes up first as either no array, or no drive attached to fast track controller. Then it gives me a nice boot failure. Ive started reading, but wanted to post this as well in hopes of some help. Thanks for any help!
