Re: BSOD daily, mouse stops working
I think you've cracked it, I just tried it cold in the other pc, and it didn't work. It must of been warmer last time.
I've never heard of a good quality mouse like this being effected in such a way before, have you? |

Re: BSOD daily, mouse stops working
No but for it start working after being on for a while didn't make sense for it to be a PC issue
![]() Now on the Blue screen was the mouse attached at the time? If so tomorrow see if you get it with a different Mouse. |

Re: BSOD daily, mouse stops working
Ok, guess I was hoping we had it sorted a little early. Got another BSOD on boot up:-
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF80002077D25) The mouse i'm using works just fine. |

Re: BSOD daily, mouse stops working
hmm, hard to remember exactly, I keep drivers upto date for sure, so I guess it could of started when installing a new one.
The mouse, keyboard and 750GB HDD were all installed on the same day, and that was the last hardware upgrade I made, they worked fine initially. |

Re: BSOD daily, mouse stops working
I would suspect one of two items .. memory or graphics card (memory) .. if it's an onboard graphics card, main memory could well be the problem.
try swapping out the graphics card or if on board graphics , only use one memory card at a time and see if it helps.

Re: BSOD daily, mouse stops working
I would try running the bootable Memtest just to rule out memory errors ............. only run the test with ONE stick of memory occupied at at time .......... always use the memory slot closest to the cpu for single stick configuration......... run memtest for 2 hours per stick
here is where you get memtest http://www.memtest.org/#downiso
