K8V SE Deluxe SPDIF Help
I just set up my new system with the following:
K8V SE Deluxe AMD 64 Bit 3000+ 3 Assorted HDD 1 CD-RW 1 CD-Rom 1 DVD-Rom nVidia GeForce 2 Ultra Video Card It works fine execpt i can't recive 5.1 out of the SPDIF Out even when i play 5.1 DVD's it won't out put AC3 it just converts them to PCM, and when i go into the SondMax control pannel i have the speaker selection to 5.1. But when i do the test it only plays the 2 front speakers. Also when i set my DVD player software to external digital decoder i get nothing. Dose this mean that on this moterboard i can only get PCM out of the SPDIF out. aand if so why would windows allow me to chose wether i want AC# or Pcm output |
