gameplay jerky
Hi, I recently upgraded some hardware in my system and am getting jerky game play during games that my system should be able to handle very easy. This happens even when I have all the settings down on the games. Games that I get the jerkiness on are Fable: The lost chapters, Pyschonauts and World of Warcraft (which didn't lag before I did the hardware upgrade)
The jerkiness doesn't happen when i'm fighting something or someone, it just happens when moving through scenery. My system has 4GB of g.skill ram, AMD 9550 2.2ghz quad core processor, EVGA 8800GTS 640MB(which I had in the system before getting new hardware), Gigabyte MA790GP-DS4H motherboard, 700W Power supply. Not sure what other info to include will be watching for answers so let me know if you need more info! |

Re: gameplay jerky
UPDATE!!! I have done some research and I guess for some reason G.skill recommends running this memory at 800mhz when using an AMD processor (CRAP!!!) but still if it fixes the problem that would be great news!!! How would I do this do I need to change the timings?
By the way I have Coolmax PW Supply and the new hardware is everything other then the video card! Thanks for the response! |
