Power Connections for the Motherboard and Fans help.
Ok well my computer is REALLY old and I needed some help on my motherboard for the power button cords into the right place I do not have a manual for the motherboard cause I bought it refurbished off some guy in 03. Anyways I need some help putting these cords together cause last night I put them in randomly and it worked fine but I removed them to remove my old dusty fan to clean it and I've been trying ever since 2:00PM and it's 5:00 now and I need some help. My motherboard is Asus P4VP-MX and I was gonna buy a new processor for it since it's garbage and worn out. Anyways thanks in advance!

Hi,
Go to this site and download the manual for your board. It is available in pdf format. http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us Paul

Re: Power Connections for the Motherboard and Fans help.
I have tried that and I opened it in notepad or Internet Explorer or Firefox and it just ask me to open it again and it just opens another tab let me try again. I found it and downloaded it but every time I open it, it ask me do you want to open it? I click yes and another tab opens asking me the same thing...

It's a .pdf file which means you need Adobe Acrobat to open it. Big download, and don't forget to uncheck the google toolbar - unless you want that installed.

Re: Power Connections for the Motherboard and Fans help.
Ok thanks I'm installing as we speak :) I hope this helps cause I wanted to make a Mineral Oil Submerged computer with 256 graphics and a new processor 2.66Ghz? Do you think my Asus can handle that? Cause right now it's stalling at 1700MHz single core.
