Abit AV8 Help
Been trying to install this setup. Nothing i can do to get it right, power up and alarm on the motherboard goes off. Won't show me a code on the digital display to even give me a clue to what it is. Any suggestions?

Make sure your heatsink/fan is seated correctly as this could cause an alarm if it is not seated right as it will heat up,I sugest using some arctic silver thermal paste on your heatsink, then check all your conections. If it is still no go remove all your drives ( H/D, CD rom ect ) and floppy and if you have more than one stick of ram go back to one and you could also swap if still does not post. if it does post you can add stuff back until you have a no go alarm
