Cursor scrolls up
In May shortly after I had more memory installed on my Toshiba Tecra M2 laptop, I started having problems with both my mouse and keyboard. The keyboard is working fine now but with increasing frequency the cursor scrolls out of control to the top of the screen. The mouse will point but cannot selecct before it scrolls away upward. I have disabled the dual pointing device and installed a labtec wireless mouse. It's almost as bad as the dual pointing device. I should add that when I boot the computerr I get a series of about 8 or 9 beeps that I didn't used to experience. I uninstalled the driver for the mouse and reinstalled it. I downloaded the latest Bios. Anything else I might try?
