Hello, so i change my asus bios settings a little, now it wont boot! Please help
I have had constant screeching noises basically in any games with my new build. It comes from the psu and i read that the power to my gtx 280s could be bottlenecked. So i decided to raise the NB voltage of the bios a little and afterwards my system wouldnt boot. It would turn on however, so what i did was take the battery of the motehrboard out for 10 minutes and put it back in again. Problem solved. However, the PSU still screeches and I wish to figure out a way to be able to switch these settings without having to revert again. Please reply with suggestions or questions!
Thanks |

Hardware specs would be nice, especially the wattage and brand
of psu. There is no setting in bios that is going to give more power to your video cards. The sound coming from the psu should be a sign that you need more power. If you keep using that machine underpowered be prepared for other hardware failure.
