[SOLVED] Computer won't power on

After leaving my computer on overnight, the next morning my computer seemed to have shutdown on it's own. Only the power led was still on. So far I've only tried unplugging the psu. Nothing happens when you press the power button and the front power led remains lit as long as the psu is on. I've used the computer for 2 years no problems, and haven't changed anything recently. I'm thinking it is either a mobo or power supply that has died. Any thoughts on a soultion, other than trying a different mobo or psu?

Re: Computer won't power on

what are you running
video card
cpu
m/board
ram
power supply
brand
wattage

any error message
check your tempretures and voltages in the bios and post them

you may have had a power surge
see if you can borrow another psu to try in it

Re: Computer won't power on

I have:

ATI 9600 XT
3.2 Ghz Pentium 4
Intel D865PERL
1 gig ram
500W Raidmax

I can't go into the bios because my computer won't power on at all. Not even for a second, the fans don't spin up or anything.

Sorry it's a 420W.

Re: Computer won't power on
