My System

[SOLVED] New PC Built-Error

It's Some old parts but i'm making a system for homework for my sisters.

I have ASUS CUV4X motherboard, 768MB SDRAM-Pc133, 20GB Maxtor 5400RPM, CD-RW and 1.0GHz Intel CPU 256kb cache.

Everything boots correctly, I'm trying to install windows but it wont boot from CD or HDD, it detects them etc. But it just comes with a screen saying "Press A key to Reboot". I have tried everything but it has stumped me.

Any Help would be much appreciated, maybe some keys i need to hit?

Thank you.

Re: New PC Built-Error

So the hdd is clean nothing on it? If that is the case, and it wont
see your cdrom drive, for some reason cds wont boot, on some machines
right off, why I dont know. But you could go to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994 and create bootable floppies.
This has helped me many times in the past.
