Need old BIOS
I am looking for a copy of an old BIOS for an Compaq EVO N600C computer. It needs to be before 10/17/2001. I am trying to run a real old prgram and all I have left is to downgrade the BIOS.

Re: Need old BIOS
I am trying to run an old industrial application program for a Allen Bradley panel display. The program is suppose to be run in 95, but 98 for the most part will work. Our companies IT dept wants nothing to do with 98 so we are kind of on our own. So this is a last ditch effort to be able to use this software.

Re: Need old BIOS
Ok so why do you need the older Bios? Will in run on XP in Compatibility Mode?
Right click on the .exe for the program >Select Properties> Select the Compatibility Tab> In the drop down box Select Win95 or Win98< You may have to also select 256 colors and/or run in 480X640 resolution depends on the program. Or if you have Win98 you could set up a dual boot. |
