Freeze Issues with the Asus Nforce 2 mobo (A7n8x_E Deluxe)

Hi guys and gals, I hope to find someone who can help me sort out my issues with the Nforce 2 board by Asus.

I have the following Asus Nvidia Nforce2 board (Bios rev 1006), 1gb PC3200 DDR400 A-Data Memory, Athlon XP 2600+ (333Mhz), Radeon 9200 Pro 128mb DVI, Coolermaster 7+ CPU Fan (+5 case fans), and the Thermaltake Lanfire 2000a case.

My issue is that My processor is designed to run at 2600 (2.09Ghz) My memory supports the DDR400 timing on the Asus Nforce board.

Now I can set in my bios the following to achieve full speed.

(Advanced Options)

Mem. Frequencey 166mhz
Performance Rate: Aggressive
Memory Speed (By SPD)

When I reboot the bios boot screen says (Memory running at 200Mhz, on Duel Timing enabled)

My processor name has changed from the normal (AMD Athlon 2000+ to AMD Athlon 2600+)

When I load into Windows XP SP2, It works fine, my temp on my front panel display sits at about 43.1oc which is fine, But when I try to load a game, the entire system freezes and does nothing (Noting that the temp now reads at 46.1oc)

I dont know what I am doing wrong but for the past ohhh year i have had to run the processor at the crappy 1.67Ghz speed (Mem Frequency 133) as that doesnt cause the freeze issues, Yet when I run the (Mem Freq' at 166) to get it to the 2.09Ghz speed it locks up all the time.

Can someone help me out cos I am at the end of my line here and due to kill the damn PC.
