Computer Hangs at Asus Boot Screen (sometimes)
I have an interesting problem with my current PC that just started happening. Lately, when I boot my computer up, the Asus M2N-MXSE Plus screen comes up, and the computer basically freezes. The harddrive lights stop blinking, and the computer just sits there. Leaving the computer alone for upwards of an hour just keeps it there as well, so its not just booting slowly. The main kicker of the problem is that this happens maybe 70% of the times I turn on my computer, whereas the other 30% it boots exactly as it should. I'm quite stumped!
My current build: Asus M2N-MX SE Plus AMD Athlon 64 X Dual Core 5000+ 2.61ghz processor Western Digital 160gb HDD 2gb Kingbox RAM ATI Radeon HD3450 512mb PCI-E 450W PSU I'm running Windows XP SP2 Any additional information you need, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help! |
