Dell Won't Start
My Dell won't start up - it keeps going on to a dell screen that says f2 setup f12 boot menu
if i hit f2 nothing happens if i hit f12 it goes to this use the up- and down-arrow keys to move thepointer to the desired boot device. <enter> to attempt the boot or esc to cancel. any ideas please, thanks |

More information is needed. What was the last thing done before the computer malfunctioned? This problem could be a number of things. One thing you can do is to test the hard-drive and see if the hard-drive went south.
I recommend going to the manufacturer's website of the hard drive and download the dianogstics utility. Then put the program on a CD and boot the computer to it. Afterwards, test the HD for any errors and see if the HD crashed on you. |
