HP Pavilion A250N Startup Issues, Broken Motherboard?

I have a Pavilion A250N ( site is at: https://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...&lang=en&cc=us ) I am no stranger to working on hardware in this thing: it has added RAM, a newer model video card, and an extra hard drive. I added these all myself and it functioned perfectly for a very long time afterwards, so I do not believe they are the problem.

I've had this thing for a while, I've had almost no trouble with it I couldn't find an answer to on my own; however, this one eludes me.

I turn the power on and I see a blank screen with no POST beeps, it simply turns on and sits. I've followed the instructions on the HP website regarding similar problems, as well as from other sites, and I have had no success. I believe I have a failed motherboard. I would fix this myself, but unfortunately I don't know where to order a new motherboard from. Of course I could also be wrong and this is not the case.

Thus I ask.. is this a motherboard issue or what? In the event it is, can I replace it and still keep compatibility with my case (The motherboard is microATX size) and my added hardware?
