[SOLVED] Dell Dimension 4550

Hi everyone im new to these forums, but I thought this would be the best place for help. I have an old 4550 and was planning on changing out the mobo with a new micro atx board, Id just like to know is it possible to do with the case of the 4550? or is it not worth the trouble.

Re: Dell Dimension 4550

and welcome to the Forum

It is virtually impossible to change out the motherboards on Dells . . all the connections are proprietary and do not easily fit a thirdparty board . . it is much simpler to buy a new case and transfer the bits you want to reuse.
