Asus P5W DH Deluxe NO POST RAID 5 HELP CANNOT LOSE DATA HELP!!!
System Spec:
Asus P5W DH Deluxe Bios 2704 (Latest) Q6700 Core 2 Quad Intel CPU 2X 1GB Kingston Value RAM DDR2 BFG 8800GTS Nvidia Video Card Enermax Liberty PSU 550 Watt 22" Dell LCD RAID 5 (software built in RAID) with 3X 320GB Seagate Hard Drive Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 -Has been working fine for months, turned it on one day and no post. --Suspect it was power supply so I replaced it with identical model, still no post -Removed RAM stick one by one, no post, no beep -Removed CMOS battery waited 10 minutes, no post -Swapped with another PCI-E video card, no post no beep -removed all cables except CPU, RAM, Video, no post, no beep -Removed heat sink and cpu, reapplied grease, reseated, no post, no beep. -Video card power and 12v cpu power all connected, no post. -Green light is on, on the motherboard. -Tried another LCD, nothing on screen, enters power saving mode after turning on PC, no Post. I am ready to replace motherboard but what happens to my RAID 5? I cannot lose this data. Is there a way to retrieve my data? Please help!!! Thanks, Peter |

Hi, it does sound like your motherboard is dead.
No beeps, no fans spinning, no lights etc? When or if you buy a new motherboard, install your OS on a new clean drive. Your data will still be on the other drives.
