No Sound - Help.

Ok I have redone this computer and for some reason I cant get any sound. I have onboard sound on my ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard. It has worked in the past. I installed all the drivers from the cd that it came with. I believe it used the Realtek AC '97. I have my speakers plugged in the right slot - the green one but it wont work. Any help would be much appreciative.

Re: No Sound - Help.

I have had this EXACT same problem with two of the ones I have sold; I "believe" its a bug from service pack 3

I gave up after zillions of hours of try this / try that and I installed a sound card

Re: No Sound - Help.

if you comb the asus forums by now you might get a better or more pin point answer, I ran in these problems almost a year ago when i was using SP-3 RC 1 beta and RC2 beta

then I threw in the towel installed $20.00 sound cards into them and lived happily ever after hell, there are even cheaper sound cards LOL
