Hello all. I'm happy to have found your site.

I have a Presario SR1750NX. I've upgraded the video card to a GEForce 8600. My hard drive crashed recently so I purchased a new one, formatted, and installed XP Pro. Since then I can't seem to get my drivers working. I have this wierd motherboard made by asus for HP/Compaq and can't find the drivers. When I install the video card driver and restart it sets the color to 4 bit and resolution to horrible :(

I saw a post by Quam5 who had a similar issue/system and you asked for his Everest log, so I'll post that now in hopes you can help me.
