Re: RAM upgrade > won't boot
I've disconnected just about everything from the PSU and it's made no difference. Will have to wait longer to try the PSU out of my other pc (if you think it's really worth it).
One thought - I mentioned on an earlier post that when trying to start in safe mode, it starts to work through a list of drivers and then hangs. Well, it always stops in the same place, showing ...system32\drivers\Mup.sys as the last item. Mean anything?

Re: RAM upgrade > won't boot
Remove power from power supply then remove ALL the memory cards, replace power to power supply & see if you get the characteristic beeps that warn that no memory is available!
then remove power again and reinstall the memory cards .. see if that gets anything working .. have had that combination bring aboard back to life .

Re: RAM upgrade > won't boot
The system recognises when there is/isn't any RAM installed - but the above suggestion had no effect.
Is there any way to read the BSOD that appears for about 1/10th second when trying to load normally? The system hangs at mup.sys when trying to load in safe mode. cheers
