Blank Screen Dell PC

Hi guys,

I just bought my Dell 530 PC a few days ago, and it has worked fine until today when i tried to switch it on, the system wouldn't boot. All i can see is a blank screen and the blinking of the cursor at the top left hand corner...
I checked all my plugs and wires, everything is normal as usual.....

I am very confused at the moment, i don't know what has happened...

can anyone help please?

Hey mate,
Can you see POST screen or can you enter into BIOS settings???
Or you can not see just anything at all except mouse cursor...
Did you uninstall some software or drivers lately???
You have been to the Internet without anti-virus software???
Could you post system specs plz...

Try unplugging the power cord press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, reconnect the power cord, see if it turns on now.

thanks guys, but i've decided to return the desktop back to dell now...
