upgrading cpu
Hi
I have just started my first upgrade, and need some help on what cpu, or motherboard/cpu upgrade i can do. I got some details of my pc off Balarc. 200 megahertz Intel Pentium w/MMX Compaq Deskpro 4000 BIOS: Compaq 586V 12/09/98 160 Megabytes Installed Memory Windows 2000 Professional (build 2195) thanks Z |

Unfortunately the P1 maxed out about 250Mhz and even for an Internet box I don't believe you'll get too much more out of it with the graphics and code on today's pages. I have an old PIII 550Mhz with 512 Meg of Ram that will just about load some of the pages today.
