Asus M2N MX Motherboard restart problem

Hi
I have assembled a pc with following configuration
AMd athlon 6000+ (AM2 x2) processor/ Asus M2n Mx motherboard/ 2 GB DDR2 800mhz Transcend RAM/360 GB SATA HDD. I have installed Winxp sp2 on it. The systems works properly when started for the first time, but if we try to restart the system using restart option in winxp (without powering off and on) the system restarts and then becomes very very slow while booting in winxp.

Kindly provide solution on ASAP thanks

Hi, try disabling any programs and non-XP services that are trying to start along with the OS.

i've tried the same, it restarts properly for first 2 restarts and then in 3rd restart it becomes dead slow.

What video card and power supply do you have?
