cpu
m/board
ram
power supply
brand
wattage
are you running
any error message
check your tempretures and voltages in the bios and post them
can you restart it straight away or do you have to wait before it will restart

m'board- asus A7V8MX
SMPS -SUPERCOMP

no error messages.after the system turns off i can switch on the system only by switching on the ups again .this problem is occasional

your computer might get too hot.
are u sure the fan is getting enough space to ventalate?

check if it restarts by switching off the power on the back of the computer and on again
