Can KOBIAN PI845GLM 5.0 support 2 GB RAM

I have a 2 year old computer with the following specs :

8 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Mother Board: KOBIAN PI845GLM 5.0

BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version 07.00T 04/02/01

Local Drive Volumes

c: (NTFS on drive 0) 59.83 GB 44.16 GB free
d: (NTFS on drive 0) 104.86 GB 7.74 GB free

SONY DVD RW DW-Q120A [CD-ROM drive]
3.5" format removeable media [Floppy drive]

Hitachi HDS721616PLAT80 [Hard drive] (164.70 GB) -- drive 0, s/n PV1300Z2SDNZNA, rev P22OA85A, SMART Status: Healthy

Memory Modules
512 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot '0' has 512 MB

The computer is working slow now a days, so was thinking to upgrade the RAM to 2 GB.

Want to know whether it is possible for this type of mother board and will it have improvement in speed.

Re: Can KOBIAN PI845GLM 5.0 support 2 GB RAM

download the free version of sandra utilities / then give us another system summary

'if your board can be made to be 133mhz FSB then you could also upgrade your cpu very cheaply and would really get a boost !
