Memory not running at spec speed
this is my system
Power: ANTEC 1000w Truepower Quattro CPU: INTEL Core 2 Duo E8500 45nm 3.16 Socket 775 Mobo: ASUS P5e3 Premium Wifi Ap Epu Ddr3 Socket 775 Intel® X48 Memory: OCZ 4096mb Kit (2x2048mb) 1600mhz Ddr3 Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Dual Channel Series Graphics: 9800 gx2 1024 DDR3 OS: Vista 32 bit Ultimate edition screen: 24" Acer monitor HD: 2x 500 gig Samsung spinpoints problem is that the memory runs at 1333 I have been trying to change some things in the BIOS, but it either doesn't boot or locks up later. I have enough cooling (Zalman on CPU and 5 casecoolers covering decent airflow) If anyone has some tips and/or tricks i'd be happy to hear and try them out :-) |
